Myths about solid dish soap

“Solid soap leaves residue”

Most often a hard water issue. Sodium citrate in the formula reduces mineral interaction and lowers the chance of film formation.

“Lye remains inside the soap”

Lye is fully consumed during saponification. The finished bar contains no free lye.

“Liquid soap is stronger”

The difference is water content and format, not cleaning power. A solid bar is a concentrated cleansing system.

“Natural soap is less effective”

Performance comes from fatty acid structure and formula design, not the format label.
