Do I need to wear gloves?
The formula is designed for regular household dishwashing and contains a low level of superfat.
For most users, gloves are not necessary during normal dishwashing. However, if you have sensitive, dry, or damaged skin, or expect prolonged contact with water and cleaning products, household gloves are recommended.
Why can dish soap make my hands feel dry?
Any dishwashing product interacts with the skin’s natural lipid barrier.
Dish soap is formulated with a low superfat level to help maintain cleaning performance and easy rinsing.
If your hands feel dry after washing, applying a moisturizing hand cream is recommended.
What is superfat?
Superfat is a small percentage of oils that remains unsaponified during the soapmaking process.
Cosmetic soaps often contain a higher superfat level for a softer skin feel. Dish soaps typically use a much lower superfat level to help maintain cleaning performance, easy rinsing, and grease removal.
Does it contain synthetic ingredients or added fragrance?
No. It contains no added fragrance, dyes, or SLS/SLES surfactants.
Is it suitable for septic systems?
Generally, yes. The formula contains no phosphates or chlorine-based ingredients, which are generally undesirable for septic systems.
